Anchor Layer
The Anchor Layer is the open playground for Africa’s developers, start-ups, and entrepreneurs. It provides easy-to-use APIs and SDKs so that anyone can build decentralized applications (DApps) on top of the network – from microfinance and insurance products to local crowdfunding platforms or transparent tax solutions. Every new service strengthens the ecosystem, because innovation happens locally, where the real needs exist.
Origin Layer
At the core of each country lies its own OriChain: a sovereign blockchain based on Avalanche Subnets. Here, states issue fully backed national stablecoins – digital versions of their currencies – under their own control. Validation follows a hybrid model: half by government institutions (such as central banks, ministries, or universities), half by independent actors (banks, fintechs, civil society). This ensures both regulatory legitimacy and decentralized trust. For countries already working on CBDCs, OriChains provide a ready-made and interoperable infrastructure.
Nexus Layer
While OriChains secure sovereignty, they need a common language for trade. That role is fulfilled by MAJI, the neutral, pan-African utility bridge token. It connects all OriChains and enables instant, low-cost swaps between national currencies. A payment from Ghana to Tanzania no longer travels via dollar detours or correspondent banks, but flows directly, reducing fees from up to 20% to just 0.75%. With algorithmic liquidity management, the tradeable MAJI-Token remains stable, transparent, and reliable – the foundation for a truly integrated African market.
